Our client, one of the largest global players in the exciting hair care market for women, requires for their Zambia office, a versatile, dynamic, self-motivated, results-oriented, highly credible and suitably qualified individual to fill the vacant position of;
PRODUCTION & MAINTENANCE EXECUTIVE
Reporting to the Procurement and Supply Chain Operations Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the production processes and ensuring quality control.
Key responsibilities shall include, but will not be limited to, the following;
- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Calculating productivity (PPP), labour loss
- Yield calculation, waste control
- Supervision and performance management
- Determining quality control standards
- Organizing equipment routine maintenance
- Ensuring compliance to occupational health and safety regulations
- Providing monthly reports of quality control, production numbers, material yield, productivity, manpower, safety and other reports as needed
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Bachelor´s Degree in Production Management or equivalent
- At least five years experience in a busy environment
- Knowledge about Total Preventive Maintenance/Lean Production System will be added advantage
- Problem-solving abilities and conflict management
- Transformational leadership abilities
- Proficiency in ICT
- Must be conversant with ERP and at least two years practical experience
