Our client, one of the largest global players in the exciting hair care market for women, requires for their
Zambia office, a versatile, dynamic, self-motivated, results-oriented, highly credible and suitably qualified
individual to fill the vacant position of;
MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Reporting to the Brand Manager based in RSA with a dotted line to Production Lead based in Lusaka,
Zambia, the incumbent will be responsible for market promotion and brand management.
Key responsibilities shall include, but will not be limited to, the following;
Collect and analyze how the brand/s is positioned in the market and crystalize targeted consumer insights
and competition strategy.
Propose and monitor marketing mix strategies (digital, OOH, In-store etc.) to build integrated and
engaging consumer brand experiences.
Implement annual promotional plans, including the trade marketing plan.
Managing all artwork creation & delivery for renovation/innovation projects.
Mobilise and collaborate with other internal key stakeholders (sales, supply chain etc.) and partner
agencies to build broader business strategies to support marketing objectives.
Evaluate competitor’s activity as well as market and category performance to identify opportunities to
improve category performance.
Follow up with commercial team, carrying out post-launch tracking of new product development and
numerical distribution objectives.
Lead and co-ordinate all creative, media, social & PR agency meetings.
Manage marketing activities within the specified budget.
Ensure timeous management and documentation of payments.
Analyze the gains of marketing campaigns and efforts, creating reports and providing recommendations to
improve.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
➢ Bachelor ́s Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration or
equivalent or Diploma in Marketing/Brand Management
➢ At least two years working experience preferably in FMCG/Retail industry
➢ A real passion for and understanding of the hair and beauty category
➢ Experience or familiarity in consumer trends and insights in FMCG.
➢ Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

➢ Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets.
➢ Good understanding of the marketing mix.
