Our client, a fast expanding international financial institution, requires for employment, a versatile, dynamic, self-motivated, results-oriented, highly credible and suitably qualified individual to fill the vacant position of;

PROJECT MANAGER (3)

Reporting to the Head Investments, the incumbent will be the driving force behind business growth and spearhead project implementation. The ideal candidate will have project management experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. He or she will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that the institution’s goal of innovation is being achieved.

Key result areas include, but are not limited to, the following;

• Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements are met
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
• Project tracking, monitoring and evaluation

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Bachelor´s Degree in Project Management or ICT
• Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science will be added advantage
• At least five (5) years’ similar work experience
• Strong commitment, leadership, and management skills.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Excellent ICT skills
